SMALL EXTRAS, BIG DIFFERENCE

Increase Airbnb revenue with upsells that guests are happy to choose

Build an extras menu around comfort, convenience, and the things guests already ask for.

Start with an actual guest need

Early arrival, late departure, breakfast, or transport can solve real problems. Begin with requests you already receive, and only offer an extra when you can deliver it reliably.

Price the whole experience

Account for supplies, cleaning schedules, staff time, platform fees, payment processing, and taxes. A $35 late checkout is not all profit if it requires a second cleaner. Use a simple margin calculation before publishing a price.

Use approval when availability matters

A later checkout depends on the next arrival. Keep those extras subject to host approval and show the terms before taking payment. Do not make a guest pay for something you cannot provide.

Measure satisfaction as well as revenue

Track how often guests choose each extra, what it costs to fulfill, and whether it creates friction. A smaller menu of well-delivered extras usually gives you more confidence than a catalog you struggle to manage.
